What is IRVSRA?
The Illinois River Valley Special Recreation Association (IRVSRA) is a cooperative extension of Pekin and Fon du Lac Park Districts to provide recreational programs and leisure services for residents with developmental disabilities. Integrated and specialized programs are available for residents and nonresidents with special needs.
Peer groups are invaluable. IRVSRA provides opportunities to
individuals with disabilities to surround themselves with friends
and neighbors that share commonalities. It is our pleasure to
provide these athletic and social settings for the special needs
population in the Tazewell County area. This website is here to help
you get connected and stay up to date with news, programs,
activities, and cancellations. There are multiple ways to get
involved with IRVSRA. We hope you take the time to go over
everything in the website and current program brochure.
and check our website calendar
to see all the activities we have
going on in the near future. You can get an idea of what kind of
activities and sports we offer. Once you find activities you
would like to participate in, you can register for those programs
here online by clicking the "register online" banner at the top of all
our website pages. Please contact us below if you have any
questions about IRVSRA programs or need assistance registering online
or in person at our office.
